I thought I was awake. My boyfriend at the time was laying next to me in bed and told me to “make sure to say goodbye” and I instantly knew he was talking about ouija board. I don’t mess with those at all. After that he said if I don’t, they’ll come after me snd then proceeded to point to the window next to our bed. I went under the covers and said “goodbye” not even a second later I heard my baby crying on the baby monitor and I then got up and told my boyfriend I was going to get her. When I entered my daughter’s room she was up and smiling in her crib but I felt a very bad energy in the room. I pulled her crib out from the wall and comes crawling out from underneath on all fours like a spider is a human like thing. All while but the head had long black hair and I never saw the face. It crawled from her room into the hallway and I watched it climb into the bathtub in the bathroom from the crack between the door and wall. I was scared but was angry and said “I will kill you” and when I said that I was instantly awake in bed in my room. It was just a dream.
Dreams often carry personal significance and can reflect our thoughts, feelings, and experiences. Here are some themes and interpretations based on your dream:
Fear and Anxiety: The dream contains elements of fear, particularly surrounding the presence of an ominous figure (the creature crawling from the crib). This could symbolize anxieties you might be feeling about your daughter's well-being or your role as a parent. The urge to protect your child can be a powerful motivator, especially if you're feeling overwhelmed by responsibilities.
Superstitions and Boundaries: Your boyfriend’s reference to the ouija board and the warning to say goodbye might symbolize boundaries around unknown or dangerous situations. Perhaps there’s something in your waking life that feels threatening or that you wish to avoid, and the ouija board signifies the crossing of boundaries into something that could be harmful.
Transformative Power of Anger: Your angrily declaring that you would "kill" the creature suggests a confrontational approach to your fears. Anger can sometimes be a telling emotion in dreams, indicating that you are ready to face issues head-on instead of passively allowing them to affect you.
Childhood Fears or Past Trauma: The imagery of a human-like figure with long hair crawling on all fours could allude to past fears or unresolved issues, possibly echoing childhood experiences. It may point to something from your past that you’ve been trying to deal with or push away.
The Role of the Subconscious: Being in a dream-like state where you thought you were awake could indicate a struggle with discernment in waking life. You might feel caught between reality and your inner fears, questioning what is real versus what is a projection of your worries.
Protection Instincts: The entire experience revolves around your instinct to protect your daughter. It stresses the importance of vigilance in your role as a parent, suggesting that you may harbor subconscious fears about her safety or the influences around her.
In summary, this dream seems to reflect a blend of anxieties about motherhood, the need to assert boundaries against dark or unknown forces, and a confrontation with deeper fears that may stem from your past. Taking time to reflect on these emotions, evaluating your current stressors, and considering any latent fears might provide further clarity.
